Infants weighing 4–35 lbs. and up to 32" in height can be accommodated by this product. An infant insert, wedge, and low harness position are included, which are recommended for preemies and smaller newborns weighing 4–11 lbs. The updated fit inlay optimizes the positioning of the infant's body.
The carrier weighs less than 10 lbs. and is made of soft, breathable, and moisture-wicking fabrics that keep the baby cool and comfortable. The adjustable headrest, which is reinforced with EPP foam to help absorb energy, provides Side Impact Protection. The no-rethread harness adjusts with the headrest, and a carry handle with a stroller release button is included.
For increased safety in rebound and rear-impact collisions, the carrier has a 4th anti-rebound handle position. Storage pockets are provided for the harness buckles, and the seat fabric is easily removable and washable.
The larger UPF hideaway canopy, which is 20% larger than the current MESA canopy, offers extra sun protection and privacy. The carrier attaches directly to VISTA and CRUZ strollers without the need for adapters, and it is available in colors to coordinate with these strollers.
Importantly, the carrier is made with fire retardant-free fabrics, including the Merino Wool used, which is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified and has hypo-allergenic and temperature control properties. The European Routing feature provides a more secure installation when used without the base.
The simple one-crotch buckle position and no-rethread, adjustable harness make buckling up a breeze. The extra-large, integrated, and extendable canopy offers greater protection outside, and it can be conveniently tucked away when not in use.
The carrier can be quickly released from the stroller frame with a press of the button on the top of the handle, allowing for a seamless transition from drive to stroll. It is compatible with the Vista, Cruz, Minu, and Ridge strollers, providing a performance travel system.
